"there is not time in the woods"

I have believed in and been saying these words for years, especially when wandering in the outdoors. Now I have them engraved, on the woods. Treated with plant-based, hardwax wood finish.

The raw piece itself was very special for having the live edge, found in the off-cuts section at the hardwoods store in Ottawa, Ontario. I believe it was an off-cut (unwanted remnant) because of the knot seen on the back side.

This wall sign will add a very earthy feeling to a room and remind that the numbers on clocks are made up. We exist in the moment.

It's really a one-off item.
